In the early spring birch trees are getting ready to form buds and leaves. Nutritious birch sap, which is generated by the roots, vigorously pushes through the trunk to the branches.
The birch sap flow season is very short and usually lasts two to three weeks. We carefully monitor the environment to find a right time for harvesting. We tap the trees and drop by drop this amazing serum created by Mother Nature fills up our specially designed containers.
Birch water is very perishable – we must gather, filter and process the sap every day. Part of our harvest is frozen so we can later use it in our cold process soaps and another part is preserved by adding a unique combination of natural ingredients. Processing the birch tree water within 24 hours assures high quality of the final product.
The preserved birch tree water is used as a base for our products which are made in small batches throughout the year until the next spring.
